Appendix D
PowerEdge Cluster Configuration Matrix
The Cluster Configuration Matrix form, which is shown on the following page, is attached to the back of each cluster node and is used by the system installer to record important information about the hardware on each cluster component. Keep these completed forms attached to their respective cluster components. Have these forms handy any time you call Dell for technical support.
The form provides fields for the following information:
•Form completion date
•Unique cluster identification (ID) number
•Service tag numbers for each cluster component
•List of each cluster node’s Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) slots and the adapters installed in each
•Usage description for each installed adapter
•PowerEdge Scalable Disk System 100 (SDS 100) storage system service tags associated with each PowerEdge Expandable redundant array of inexpen- sive disks (RAID) Controller channel
NOTE: Currently, only two PowerEdge SDS 100 storage systems are supported on the PowerEdge Cluster. Future enhancements will provide support for up to four SDS 100 storage systems.
