Removing a RAID Controller Module CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician.
Youshould only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in
yourproduct documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service
andsupport team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not
coveredby your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came
withthe product.

Disconnect the cables connected to the RAID controller module.

Push down on the release tab and pull the release lever away from the
chassis. See Figure16-8.

Grasp the release lever and pull the module away from the chassis.
NOTE: To avoid damage to the sensitive EMI contacts on the RAID controller
module, do not stack RAID controller modules.
