Speaker Cover

Removing the Speaker Cover

1Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 11.

2Remove the back cover. See "Removing the Back Cover" on page 19.

3Remove the rear-stand assembly. See "Removing the Rear-Stand Assembly" on page 35.

4Remove the feet. See "Removing the Feet" on page 69.

5Follow the instructions from step 3 to step 5 in "Removing the Optical Drive" on page 27.

6Remove the VESA mount. See "Removing the VESA Mount" on page 37.

7Remove the rear I/O cover. See "Removing the Rear I/O Cover" on page 39.

8Remove the side I/O cover. See "Removing the Side I/O Cover" on page 41.

9Remove the system-board shield. See "Removing the System-Board Shield" on page 53.

10Remove the AV board. See "Removing the Audio Video (AV) Board" on page 43.

11Remove the middle frame. See "Removing the Middle Frame" on page 71.

12Remove the six screws that secure the speaker cover to the chassis.

13Release the four tabs that secure the speaker cover to the chassis.
