5. Plug the equipment to be protected into the appropriate UPS output
receptacles (see page 42 for more information on load segments).

NOTE DONOT protect laser printers with the UPS because of the exceptionally high power
requirementsof the heating elements.
6. High-voltagemodels only. Installthe cord-retention bracket to secure
the cords and provide strain relief (see Figure 10).
Plug a 10A power cord into the input connector on the UPS rear
panel (16A power cord supplied for 2500–3000 VA models).
