Load Segments (PowerShare)

Each UPS has programmable outlets as shown in Figure 22 through Figure 24. During a power outage, you can keep key pieces of equipment running while you turn off other equipment. It is preferable to connect the non-priority loads to the programmable receptacles, 1 and 2 . This feature allows you to save battery power. See your power management software manual for details (refer to www.powerware.com for the latest information).

NOTE If power management software is not used, the individual load segments cannot be controlled.
