6) Notes on preprinting on the recording surface of therm al paper
When using thermal paper, the recordi ng surface of which has been preprinted, sti cking (a
problem of the thermal head sticking t o the surface of the thermal paper during printi ng) may
occur, causing faulty printing and other problems. I t is, therefore, strongl y recommended to
avoid using preprinted thermal paper. If such paper must be used, conduct prepri nting tests
under the conditions recommended by the paper manufacturer ( type of ink/print conditions) and
confirm that no faulty pri nting or any other problems occur before you use it f or actual printing.
