PD-6DVD Location Recorder (Chapter 9: EDL SEL mode <Creating and editing an ALE file>)

On a DVD-RAM disk, the “info” folder is created under the “bwff” folder.

The “Info” folder contains ALE (Avid Log Exchange) files and various information files such as a diagnoses file.

About an ALE file

An ALE file is an EDL (Edit Decision List) file for exporting to an AVID system. Because it is a simple text file, a personal computer easily reads it.
