Figure 4.1 shows the read/write head structures. The MPA3017AT has 2 read/write heads, the MPA3026AT has 3, MPA3035AT has 4, MPA3043AT has 5, and MPA3052AT has 6. These heads are raised from the disk surface as the spindle motor approaches the rated rotation speed.
