ÊInsert the green engaging hooks in the rods and push them down until they engage in the upper edge of the expansion card.
VCAUTION!
Make sure that the ports on the expansion card are not blocked by the engaging hooks.
Operating the expansion card
ÊInsert the expansion card fastened to the removal tool in the PCI slot.
ÊClose the slot lock (2) (see figure 31 on page 99) by folding it down. Make sure that the slot lock engages.
ÊIf necessary, connect the cables on the expansion card.
ÊActivate the expansion card using either the relevant PCI
The optical waveguide flashes green. The slot is in an enable sequence.
ÊWait until the optical waveguide is constantly green. The slot is now powered on.
IIf the optical waveguide continues to flash, an error has occurred.
Remove the expansion card and repeat the procedure as described above.
ÊClose the housing cover (see “Opening/closing the housing” on page 114).
