•To limit who can access the sensors, click Change who can access sensors, then check or uncheck the box adjacent to the individual you would like to grant or prohibit access.

•To uninstall the sensor, click Uninstall this sensor.

Windows 8:

In Windows 8 systems, there are two ways to enable or disable the light sensor.

1.From the Modern Start Screen go to Change PC Settings -> General -> Screen. There you will find Adjust my screen brightness automatically. You can use the switch to turn the light sensor on/off.

2.From the desktop, go to the Control Panel -> All Control Panel Items -> Power Options. Select the plan in which you want to adjust the light sensor. Then go to Change Plan Settings -> Change Advanced power settings -> Display. Under Enable adaptive brightness you can set on/off On battery or Plugged in.
