4. INMARSAT C OPERATIONS

About attachments

The FELCOM 16 receives a file with an attachment over a landline two ways. (The method depends on the LES.)

•Mail main text and text mail which includes information about the attachment.

Receive message log

Some files stored on the Receive Message Log may not be readable. Choose the file and press the [Enter] key. If the file is unreadable, because it is in a language other than English (for example, Japanese). Press the [S] key to save the file to the hard disk. Open the file with a different application.
