4.3Display Log

The Display Log stores the particulars of the latest 50 received and transmitted messages. When the log becomes full, the oldest message is automatically deleted.

4.3.1Displaying and printing the display log

1.Press the [F6] key to display the Logs menu.

2.Press the [4] key to show the Display Log.

3.To scroll the Display Log screen, press the [] key several times.

4.To print the log, press the [P] key while pressing the [Ctrl] key and press the [P] key. To stop printing, press the [Esc] key.

Display log description

1)

Log no.

2) S/R

S: Send message, R: Received message

3)Message No.: Message no. or file name

4)Type: Message type (Telex, e-mail, etc.)

5)Pri: Communications priority; “Nrm” is for general administrative communications.

6)Date: Date message was received (transmitted).

7)Time: Time message was received (transmitted).

8)LES: ID of LES which handled the message

9)Station: Transmitting station name. Blank for unregistered station or received message.

10)Size: Size of message in bytes

11)Cond: Transmission results. Blank if a received message.

Success: Successful transmission

Fail: Failed transmission

Rejected: Message rejected by LES
