The basic procedure to change the current setting is that you have to delete the existing configuration and reentering new configuration.

>dhcpclient config ↵
(displays the current DHCP client configuration)
>dhcpclient config flush ↵
(deletes current DHCP client settings)
>dhcpclient config confirm ↵ (confirm the previous action)
>config save ↵
(save the new configuration)
>dhcpclient config ↵
(displays the current DHCP client configuration. Should be empty.)
