Starting the Engine

WARNING

Keep body to the left of the chain line. Never straddle the saw or chain, or lean over past the chain line.

Placethechainsawonlevelground and ensure that no objects or ob- structions are in immediate vicin- ity which could come in contact with the bar and chain. Hold the front handle firmly with the left hand and put your right foot onto the base of the rear handle, see Illustration (A).

Starting Instructions

1.MovechainbraketoBRAKE position.

Set the chain brake by push- ing the chain brake lever / hand guard forward (towards the bar), to the brake position as shown in Illustration (B). Refer to Safety-Chain Brake and Operation-Chain Brake Sections for additional infor- mation.

Il faut maintenir le corps à l’écart de la ligne de la chaîne. Il ne faut jamais chevaucher la tronçonneuse, ni se pencher au- delà de la ligne de la chaîne.

Mettre la tronçonneuse sur un sol de niveau et vérifier qu’il n’y a aucun objet ni obstruction à proximité immédiate qui pourrait entrer en con- tact avec le guide et la chaîne. Tenir fermement la poignée avant avec la main gauche et mettre le pied droit sur la base de la poignée arrière, voir l’illustration (A).

Instructions de mise en marche

1.Mettre le frein de la chaîne à la position de FREINAGE.

Engager le frein de la chaîne. Pour cela, pousser vers l’avant la combinaison de levier de frein et de protection de main avant (vers le guide), en position de freinage, comme montré sur l’illustration (B). ADVERTENCIA

Mantener el cuerpo a la izquierda de la línea de la cadena. No montarse sobre la sierra ni la cadena, ni inclinar el cuerpo cruzando la línea de la cadena.

Colocar la sierra sobre un suelo nivelado y verificar que no hayan objetos ni obstrucciones cerca que puedan entrar en contacto con la barra o con la cadena. Sostener firmemente el mango frontal con la mano izquierda y apoyar el pie derechoenlabasedelmangotrasero, tal como se muestra en la ilustración (A).

Instrucciones para el arranque

1.Coloque el freno de la cadena en la posición de FRENADO.

Aplicar el freno de la cadena empujando la palanca de freno / cubremano hacia adelante (hacia la barra de la cadena), tal comosemuestraenlailustración (B). Consultar más información en las secciones de Seguridad del Freno de Cadena y Utilización del Freno de Cadena.
