Never start your engine unless guide bar,chain,drivecasecoverandclutch drum are installed. Without all these parts in place, the clutch can fly off or explode exposing the user to pos- sible serious injury.

Ne démarrer jamais le moteur tant que le guide-chaîne, la chaîne, le carter d’embrayage et le carter de la boîte d’engrenages ne sont pas installés. Sans toutes ces pièces bien en place, l’embrayage peut être projeté ou exploser, ce qui pourrait blesser l’utilisateur.

1.Always put the switch in the stop “O

/ ” position before you do any work on the saw.

2.Ensurethatthechainbrakeisnotset by pulling the chain brake lever / hand guard towards the front handle as shown in illustration (A). Refer to Safety-Chain Brake and Operation- Chain Brake Sections for additional information.

3.Always wear gloves when handling the chain and bar; these compo- nents are sharp and may contain burrs.

4.Remove the bar mounting nuts (B) using a combination wrench (C) (or 5/8" wrench).

2.Vérifier que le frein de la chaîne n’est pas engagé. Pour cela, tirer la combinaison de levier de freinage et protection de main vers la poignée avant, comme montré sur l’illustration (A). Consulter les renseignements supplémentaires dans les sections de Frein de sécurité de la chaîne et Utilisation du frein de la chaîne.

3.Il faut toujours porter des gants pendant la manutention de la chaîne et du guide- chaîne, ces éléments sont tranchants et peuvent contenir des bavures.

4.Enlever les écrous de montage du guide-chaîne (B) avec une clé mixte (C) ou une clé de 5/8 po.

1.Antes de efectuar cualquier trabajo en la sierra, verificar siempre que el interruptor de arranque se encuentre en posición de Parada “O / ”.

3.Usar siempre guantes de seguridad para manejar la cadena y la barra. Estas piezas son filosas y podrían tener melladuras o rebabas cortantes.
