7.Replacetheouterguidebarplate(E) assuring that the bar pin groove is at the bottom, with the upper and lower edges angled away from the guide bar as shown in illustration.

8.Replacetheclutchcover(D)andbar mountingnuts. Tightenthebarmount- ing nuts finger tight only. The bar must be free to move for tension adjustment.

9.Remove all slack from chain by turn- ing the chain tensioning screw (R) clockwiseuntilthechainseatssnugly against the bar with the drive links in the bar groove.

10.Liftthetipoftheguidebaruptocheck for sag. Release the tip of the guide bar and turn the chain tensioning screw 1/2 turn clockwise. Repeat this process until sag does not exist.

7.Remettre en place la plaque extérieure (E) du guide en vérifiant que la fente du goujon du guide est en bas, avec les bords supérieur et inférieur inclinés en s’écartant du guide-chaîne, comme montré sur l’illustration.

8.Remettreenplacelecarterd’embrayage (D) et les écrous de montage du guide- chaîne. Serrer à la main seulement les écrous de montage du guide. Le guide doit pouvoir se déplacer pour régler la tension.

9.Éliminer tout le mou de la chaîne en tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre la vis de tension (R) de la chaîne, jusqu’à ce que la chaîne soit bien contre le guide, avec les maillons d’entraînement dans la gorge du guide.

10.Soulever l’extrémité du guide-chaîne pour vérifier s’il y a du mou. Relâcher l’extrémité du guide-chaîne et tourner d’un demi-tour la vis, dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre. Répéter cette procédure jusqu’à l’élimination de tout le mou.
