6.The pre-filter (D) should be cleaned every 25 tanks of fuel or sooner if required. Removethecylindercover, starterassemblyandthefanhousing baffle for access to the pre-filter in the engine housing.

NOTE

If an air hose is used for drying, blow through both sides of filter.

6.Il faut nettoyer le préfiltre (D) tous les 25 réservoirs d’essence ou plus fréquemment si nécessaire. Enlever le couverture supérieure, démarreur et le déflecteur du carénage du ventilateur pour obtenir accès au préfiltre à l’intérieur du carter du moteur.

REMARQUE

Il faut souffler des deux côtés du filtre si un tuyau d’air comprimé est utilisé pour le sécher.

6.El prefiltro (D) se debe limpiar cada 25 tanques de combustible (o antes si las condiciones lo exigieran). Para acceder al prefiltro en la carcaza del motor, extraer el cubierta del cilindro, el arrancador y el deflector del ventilador.

NOTA

Si se utiliza una manguera de aire comprimido para secar el filtro, soplar aire de ambos lados del mismo.

CAUTION

Never run the engine without the air filter, serious damage could result. Make sure the air filter is correctly placed in the air filter cover before reassembly.
