MAINTENANCE

Spark Arresting Muffler

The muffler (A) is equipped with a spark arrester screen (B). A faulty spark ar- rester screen can create a fire hazard. Through normal use the screen can be- come dirty and should be inspected weekly and cleaned as required.

To clean:

•Allow the muffler to cool.

•Remove two nuts (C) and screen retainer (D) to access the spark ar- restor screen.

•Replace the spark arrestor screen if it is cracked or otherwise deterio- rated.

Silencieux pare-étincelles

Le silencieux (A) est équipé d’un écran pare-étincelles (B). Un écran pare-étincelles défectueux peut créer un risque d’incendie. Après du service normal, l’écran pare- étincellespeuts’encrasseretilfautl’inspecter chaque semaine et le nettoyer selon le besoin.

Nettoyage

•Laisser se refroidir le silencieux.

•Enlever les deux écrous (C) et le dispositif de retenue (D) pour obtenir accès à l’écran pare-étincelles.

•Remplacer l’écran pare-étincelles s’il est fissuré ou détérioré d’une manière quelconque.

MANTENIMIENTO

Silenciador con apagachispas

El silenciador (A) está equipado con una pantalla apagachispas (B). Si la pantalla apagachispas está en malas condiciones, se puede generar riesgo de incendio. Esta pantalla se ensucia con el uso normal de la máquina, por lo cual es conveniente inspeccionarla y limpiarla una vez por semana.

Limpieza:

•Dejar enfriar el silenciador.

•Sacar las dos tuercas (C) y el retén (D) para llegar a la pantalla del apagachispas.

•Cambiar la pantalla si se la encontrara rajada o deteriorada.
