5.Lay out the saw chain in a loop and straighten any kinks [see illustration (F)]. The cutters (G) should face in thedirectionofchainrotation(H-see Illustration). If they face backwards, turn the loop over.

5.Mettre la chaîne à plat en forme de boucleetredressertouttortillement[voir l’illustration (F)]. Les couteaux (G) doivent être pointés dans la direction de rotation de la chaîne (H, voir illustra- tion). S’ils sont pointés dans la direction opposée, retourner la boucle.
