Using the Event Log for Troubleshooting Switch Problems

dma	Direct Access Memory (DMA): Transmits and receives	—
	packets between the CPU and the switch. Not used for logging
	messages in software release K.13.xx.
fault	Fault Detection facility, including response policy and the	Management and Configuration Guide
	sensitivity level at which a network problem should generate
	an alert.
ffi	Find, Fix, and Inform: Event or alert log messages indicating a	Installation and Getting Started Guide

	events on transceiver connections with other network
	devices.
