This softkey activates the exponentially-scaled amplitude modulation function. Amplitude modulation lets the RF output of the synthesizer be continuously and exponentially varied at a rate determined by the AM input. See “Specifications” for the AM characteristics, input range, and damage level. An asterisk next to the key label indicates that this feature is active.
