Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments (SCPI) is the instrument control programming language adopted by Hewlett-Packard. SCPI provides commands that are common from one Hewlett-Packard product to another, eliminating “device specific” commands.

This softkey lets you select SCPI as the synthesizer’s external interface language. This is the default language set at the factory. Any commands issued within 100 ms of a change in language may be ignored or lost. An asterisk next to the key label indicates that this feature is active.
