Print a cleaning page

Print a cleaning page to remove dust and excess toner from the paper path if you are having any of the following problems:

Specks of toner on the printed pages.

Toner smearing on the printed pages.

Repeated marks on the printed pages. Print a cleaning page:

1.On the control panel, press Setup .

2.Use the arrow buttons to select the Service menu.

3.Use the arrow buttons to select Cleaning Page.

4.Load plain letter or A4 paper when prompted.

5.Press OK to begin the cleaning process.

A page feeds through the product slowly. Discard the page when the process is completed.

Configuration page

The configuration page lists current product settings and properties. This page also contains a status log report.

1.On the control panel, press Setup .

2.Use the arrow buttons to select the Reports menu, and then press OK.

3.Use the arrow buttons to select Config Report, and then press OK.

A second page also prints showing the Fax Menu section, which provides details about the fax settings.
