Once applied, any subsequent deletions performed on mailboxes contained in the given mailbox store are retained for the number of days specified.

NOTE:

HP recommends that the Keep deleted items for (days): and the Keep deleted mailboxes for (days): parameters be set to 7.

Scheduling deletion from RISS

To schedule deletions, enable a scheduled event using Scheduler and establish a corresponding rule using Mail Attender.

CAUTION:

Contact HP technical support for assistance in deletion configuration.

Additionally, note that two Domain.jcml attributes, MinRegulatedRetentionPeriodDays and MinUnRegulatedRetentionPeriodDays, define the minimum data retention period for a repository. They are configured per domain.

Scheduling events

The main Scheduler screen displays all scheduled events, their status, and type.
