Using NetWare User Tools for MS Windows

Windows. These settings are retained in your NETWARE.INI, WIN.INI, and

SYSTEM.INI files.

NetWare User Tools for MS Windows recognizes the previous settings each time you start MS Windows.

Using “NetWare Settings”

• Allow or block incoming messages

 

 

Set display options

 

 

• Change the hotkey value for NetWare User Tools for MS Windows

 

 

• Allow for persistent connections

Messages Reception

 

“Broadcasts” allows you to block or receive messages sent to your client

 

 

 

 

by other network stations and servers.

 

 

 

 

By default, this box is checked so that you receive broadcast messages.

 

 

 

 

If you block broadcast messages, all messages sent to your station are

 

 

 

 

lost. You cannot retrieve them later.

 

 

 

 

“Network Warnings” alerts you to the following network problems:

 

 

 

 

• The NetWare VLM is not loaded.

 

 

 

 

• Your DOS Requester configuration is not set up correctly.

 

 

 

 

• Memory is insufficient to load network support.

 

 

 

 

By default, this box is checked so you are notified of network problems.
