Scanner Control Panel

The Scanner Control Panel is divided into three sections:

∙The options keys section, which contains the - Media Selection, Image Quality, and Reduce/Enlarge options selections

∙The graphical display and the navigation keys section.

∙The right-hand section, which contains the numeric keypad, the special features keys, and the scan control keys.

If the BEEP function is enabled (factory default), a beep sound will be heard when a key is pressed. If an improper key is pressed, a multiple beep sound will be heard.

OPTIONS KEYS

The left side of the Scanner Control Panel contains the keys for the selection of options. It is divided into three areas - Media Selection, Image Quality, and Reduce/Enlarge.

To select an option, press the key(s) beneath the option. In some cases, a screen requiring a selection or input is displayed on the graphical display. When an option is selected, the indicator lamp to the left of the option illuminates.
