2.Align threads of threaded sector with exposed threads of locking rod through cutout in recliner tube.
CAUTION
DO NOT route the cable assembly to the outside of the locking rod/recliner tube assembly as it may rub against the tires.
3.Route cable assembly to the inside of the locking rod/recliner tube assembly.
4.Position U‐bolt in middle of support plate.
WARNING
A 90° angle must be maintained to provide full contact of the threads between the sector and the locking rod (Detail “A”). Otherwise, injury to the user and/or assis- tant or damage to the equipment may result.
5.When connecting the lower cable assembly to the recliner tube, the housing must be at 90° to the frame step tube.

6.Secure support housing/cable assembly and support plate to recliner tube with existing U‐bolt and two (2) locknuts. Torque to 4 ft‐lbs. (48 inch‐pounds).
