Changing the scan area affects the image resolution. If desired, the size of the scan area can be selected from the drop-down list box. When the Scan Area setting is used to designate the number of lines, the rest of the Exposure Control frame is disabled. For more information on programmable scans see “Programmable Scan Area” on page 53
