(2)To Use 3000X “Stand Alone” without an MCS-3800 Set the rear DIP switch position #4 down (= ON)

When the rear dip switch number 4 is down, that is, on, you will use the MCS-3000X’s MIDI input and MIDI output.

(The MCS-3000X’s modular “telephone-type” connectors are not used in this modes)

When the rear dip switch number 4 is down, that is, on, the 3 remaining switches are used to select the protocol, that is, the input and output MIDI commands.

Switch #4 is the left most switch, when viewed from the rear.
