Scan for Beginning of Programme (or Play List)

You can scan the beginning of the programme (or play list) easily with the HDD Navigation. For details of the play list, refer to “Play List Features” ( pg. 60).

●Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.

●Slide TV/CABLE/SAT switch to the right.

●If the recorder is turned on with HDD deck selected, there may be about 30 seconds’ delay in starting to show pictures on the screen.

A Turn on the recorder.

Press 1.

B Select the HDD deck.

Press HDD.

C Access the Index screen.

On the recorder

Press NAVIGATION.

On the remote control

APress NAVIGATION. The HDD Navigation screen appears.

BPress w e to move the arrow to “REC LIST”, then press

OK.

●When you wish to play back a play list, select “PLAY LIST”, then press OK.

D Select the programme.

On the recorder

Turn the JOG dial to select the programme (or play list), then press the JOG dial.

On the remote control Press w r e t to move the arrow on the index (small still pictures) of the desired programme, then press OK.

●When you wish to play back a programme during recording from the beginning, press w r e t to move the arrow to the top left corner index of the recording programme.

E Start playback.

Press w e to move the arrow to “BEGINNING”, then press OK again.

●To repeat playback of a selected programme (or play list), refer to “Repeat Playback” ( pg. 32).

F Pause playback.

Press 9.

●To resume normal playback, press 4.

G Stop playback.

Press 8.

●To resume playback from the point where playback was previously stopped, press w e to move the arrow to “RESUME”, then press OK.
