NOTE:

When using the straight stitch foot, make sure to set the needle positions selector at €:D (Center needle position) and stitch width at "5". Otherwise the needle may strike the sewing foot and could possibly break.

This strong, durable stitch is recommended where both elasticity and strength are necessary in order to insure comfort and durability.

Use it to reinforce areas such as crotch and armhole seams as well as to eliminate puckering on knits and stretch fabrics. Also, use when constructing items requiring extra strength such as backpacks.
