En la caja de agujas hay una aguja de cada tamafio 11, 14, 16, 18, y una de taton azut del tamafio 11. Cuando cosa tejidos de punto y sinteticos, emptee la aguja de taton azut para evitar los fatlos de puntada. Para ciertos tipos de tejidos debera.n utilizarse agujas especiales. Para que la aguja pueda penetrar de forma efectiva en los tejidos duros tales como teta vaquera y Iona debera, emptearse una aguja para tela vaquera con una punta muy afitada. Para costuras a la vista debera, utilizarse una aguja especial con un ojo grande por et que pueda pasar un hilo grueso resistente. Las agujas para cuero perforan pequefios agujeros en el cuero y los expanden permitiendo asi que et hilo pase a traves del agujero.

Inspeccione las agujas con frecuencia para comprobar que no esten embotadas o despuntadas. Las agujas dafiadas sueten causar enganches y carreras irreparabtes en tejidos de punto, sedas finas y imitacion de seda.
