Specific Personal Safety Rules (cont.):

Always hold the tool firmly in your hands.

Secure Flexible Shaft or Rotator Shaft to the Handi-Butler tool before use.

Do not reach in the area of the spinning tool on the end of the Flexible Shaft or Rotator shaft.

Do not remove the Flexible Shaft or 6" Rotator Shaft while the unit is running.

Do not touch the spinning parts immediately after use because the tools or tip might be hot.

Do not force the Handi-Butler tool. Use the correct tool for your application. The correct tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.

Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the Handi-Butler tool. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally.

Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the Handi-Butler tool or these instructions to operate the tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts,

breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool's operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused

by poorly maintained power tools.

Use the Handi-Butler tool, accessories and tool bits, etc., in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended for Handi-Butler tool, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the Handi-Butler for operations different from intended could result in a hazardous situation.

The use of any other accessories not specified with this product may create a hazard.

Do not alter or misuse the tool. These tools are precision built. Any alteration or modification not specified is misuse and may result in a dangerous condition.

Do not leave the tool running or unattended. Turn power off when not in use.

Do not use drill bits or cutting tools with the Handi-Butler tool. Use only genuine Kirby® Parts.

Service:

Have your Handi-Butler tool serviced by an authorized Kirby Distributor using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure the safety of the Handi-Butler tool

is maintained.

The Handi-Butler tool operates at 18,000 maximum RPM.
