Ethernet Connector Pinouts

The xDirect supports 10/100 Mbps half or full duplex Ethernet through an RJ45 connector. For PoE option, the xDirect is compliant as an IEEE 802.3af Power Device, Class . Power connections can be established via data pins (1 & 2 and 3 & 6), or spare pins (4 & 5 and 7 & 8).

Note: The Ethernet connector pin-out above is provided only for reference during installation and troubleshooting. xDirect is not HP Auto-MDIX compatible (i.e. not straight/ cross cable interchangeable). When utilizing PoE to power the xDirect (for PoE model only), use an Ethernet hub/switch or PoE injector that is IEEE 802.3af compliant.
