Calculating the Total Magnification and Field of View Diameter

ME Magnification of the eyepiece

qTube factor, e.g. 1.5× for coaxial incident light, 1.6× for 45°

rFactor 1.25x if the planachromatic and planapochromatic
objectives of the MZ125/MZ16 are used on the MS5, MZ6,
MZ75 or MZ95
NFOV Field number of the eyepiece. Field numbers are printed on the
eyepieces: 10× = 21, 16× = 14, 25× = 9.5, 40× = 6.
