Try one or more of the following:
Press the up or down arrow button until Continue appears, and then press to stop the defragment operation
and continue printing.
Downloaded fonts and macros not previously stored in flash m emory are deleted.
Delete fonts, macros, and other data stored in flash memor y.
Upgrade to a larger capacity flash memory card.
54 Network <x> software error
Press the up or down arrow button until Continue appears , and then press to c ontinue printing.
Turn the printer off and then back on to reset the printer.
Upgrade (flash) the network firmware in the printer or print server.
54 Standard network software error
Try one or more of the following:
Press the up or down arrow button until Continue appears , and then press to clear the message
Turn the printer off and then back on to reset the printer.
Upgrade (flash) the network firmware in the printer or print server.
55 Unsupported option in slot <x>
<x> is a slot on the printer system board.
Try one or more of the following:
1Turn the printer power off.
2Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
3Remove the unsupported option card from the printer s ystem board.
4Connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet.
5Turn the printer power back on.
56 Parallel port <x> disabled
Press the up or down arrow button until Continue appears , and then press to clear the message.
The printer discards any data received through the parallel po rt.
Make sure the Parallel Buffer menu item is not set to Disabled.
