■To Identify Your Cable Converter –Direct Entry Method

Use the following steps and list (on page 69) to quickly find the remote control code for your cable TV converter.

• First look up your converter’s remote code number on page 69 before continuing the direct code entry steps below.

Identifying your Cable Converter through the Search method

(1) While pointing the front part of the remote control towards the infrared sensor

of the cable converter, press	DISPLAY	and hold them down for up

to two minutes. Be careful not to let the cable converter scan more than five channels when the indicator starts to increase. If you continue to hold down the buttons after five channel scans, the proper remote code can be passed up and the two-minute cycle will have to be repeated.
