Before you begin, disconnect power adapter.
±Warning: Do not expose the main battery to an open flame, attempt to open the plastic case, or dispose of the battery with other trash. If you touch a damaged battery, immediately wash your hands and affected skin with water for at least five minutes. If you are replacing the battery, send the old one to Apple for proper disposal.
