Click [Browse], and specify the file to import.
File Format Select the format of the file to import. Select “vCard” or
“CSV” .

Select the method to use when importing the data to
the address book.
Overwrite: Deletes all the data in the selected
personal address book or shared address
book, and then imports the data. Data for
the “Number” item is also imported.
Append: Adds the data to the address book.
However, the data for the “Number” item
is not imported, and a number is assigned
automatically.

Tag Setting

Set whether to specify tag settings when importing the
data.
Select “ON” to specify tag settings, or “OFF” to not
specify them. If you select “ON”, the address book items
are manually associated with the items in the file. (See
page 3-28.) If you select “OFF”, the item names for
CSV files generated by older models and the export
function of Outlook and Outlook Express are associated
automatically.
