Setting up Off-premise Message Notification

Follow these instructions if you are setting up Off-premise Message Notification for the first time. If you have already set up Off-premise Message Notification, refer to the section “Changing Off-premise Message Notification” on page 83.

To set up Off-premise Message Notification to a phone number

1Press ≤·°⁄.

Follow the voice prompts or the display button options to open your mailbox.

2If you use the CallPilot interface:

•Press °fito open the Mailbox Tools

•Press NOTIF or ¤to open the Off-premise Message Notification menu

•Go to step 3

If you use the Norstar Voice Mail interface:

•Press ADMIN or °

•Press flto open the Off-premise Message Notification menu

•Go to step 3

Msg notify		3	Press ADMIN or ⁄to set up Off-premise Message Notification.
ADMIN	SELECT
Destination:		4	Press PHONE or ⁄to choose a phone number destination.
PHONE	EXT	PAGER
Ph:		5	Enter the destination phone number and press OK or £. The
RETRY		OK	destination phone number is a maximum of 30 digits.
