Intercom

Intercom can be made between the base unit and a cordless handset, and between 2 cordless handsets (when the system has one or more additional cordless handsets, p. 27). You can page all cordless handsets from the base unit at once.

Using this feature, you can also locate a misplaced cordless handset.

Making Intercom Calls

Base Unit

Press [LOCATOR/INTERCOM/TRANSFER].

 

 

Press extension#

 

 

The LOCATOR/INTERCOM/TRANSFER indicator

to call

 

 

and the DIGITAL SP-PHONE indicator light.

 

 

 

To switch from the speakerphone to the

 

 

 

handset, lift it off the cradle.

To page all cordless handsets, press [0].

To page a cordless handset, press its

 

 

 

Paging [ALL]

 

 

extension number ([1] to [3]).

 

The cordless handset(s) will ring for 1 minute.

To stop paging, place the handset on the cradle, or if using the speakerphone, press [DIGITAL SP-PHONE]or [LOCATOR/INTERCOM/TRANSFER].

3When the paged party answers, talk into the MIC or handset.
