Auto Talk Handset

The Auto Talk feature allows you to answer calls by simply lifting the cordless handset off the charger without pressing [ ] or [ ]. To use this feature, turn the feature ON. The factory preset is OFF.

1Press [CONF/FUNCTION].

2	Press [ ] at “Telephone”.
					Telephone
3	Scroll to “Initial setting” by pressing
					Initial setting
	[ ] or [ ], then press [ ].
4	Scroll to “Auto talk” by pressing [	] or [		],
					Auto talk
	then press [ ].
5	Select “On” or “Off” by pressing [	] or [	].
					Auto talk :Off

6 Press the soft key ( SAVE ), then press [OFF].

•In order to view Caller ID information after you lift up the cordless handset to answer a call, leave the Auto Talk feature OFF.

LCD Contrast Base Unit Handset

You can select the LCD contrast (6 levels) on the base unit and the cordless handset separately. The factory preset is “level 3”.

1Base unit: Press [FUNCTION/EDIT].

Cordless handset: Press [CONF/FUNCTION].

2	Press [	] at “Telephone”.
			Telephone
3	Scroll to “Initial setting” by pressing
			Initial setting
	[ ] or [	], then press [ ].
4	Press [	] at “LCD contrast”.

5	Select the desired contrast by pressing [ ] or		Ex. Level 6
	[ ].

	• The contrast will change.		Low	High

•The number of steps indicates the contrast level.

6Base unit: Press [] (Save), then press [STOP].

Cordless handset: Press the soft key ( SAVE ), then press [OFF].
