Phone Book

You can store up to 50 names and phone numbers in the base unit or the cordless handset phone book. All phone book items are sorted by the first word in alphabetical order. You can make a call by selecting a name or number from the phone book, and copy phone book items from a cordless handset to the base unit or another cordless handset (p. 44, 45).

Storing Names and Numbers Base Unit Handset

You can store names and phone numbers in the base unit and the cordless handset phone books separately.

1Base unit: Press [FUNCTION/EDIT].

Cordless handset: Press [CONF/FUNCTION].

To delete a digit, press [ERASE] on the base unit or press [HOLD/CLEAR] on the cordless handset. To erase all of the digits, press and hold [ERASE] or [HOLD/CLEAR].

If a pause is required for dialing, press [REDIAL/PAUSE] on the base unit or [PAUSE/REDIAL] on the cordless handset, in step 5. A pause stored in a phone number counts as one digit (p. 52).
