Replacing the unit
JJReplacement of the air filter unit
1111Turn off the projector, and unplug the
AC power cord from the AC outlet.
2222Clean up the dust on the projector and around the air vents.
3333Press ▼ downwards on the filter cover to release the latch and open the filter cover.
4444Pull out the air filter unit.
zzPick the tab and frame of the air filter unit, release the lock with pressing the tab rightwards in the figure, and then pull.
5555Attach the air filter unit.
zzHold the air filter unit that the tab is in left side in the figure, put the right side in the figure first, and press the tab side until make a click sound.
6666 Close and press up to lock the filter cover.
zzMake sure that the air filter cover is closed tightly.
7777Reset the filter counter.
zzTurn on the power and perform [Filter counter reset] in the [Setting] menu.

Attention
zzTurn off the power before you replace the air filter unit.
zzWhen attaching the air filter unit, make sure that the projector is stable, and work in an environment that is safe, even in the event of the air filter unit dropping.
zzDo not operate the projector with the air filter unit removed. Dust may accumulate on the optical elements degrading picture quality.
zzDo not put anything into the air vents. Doing so may result in malfunction of the projector. zzThe air filter unit to be replaced should be an unused product.
