Information Codes

When something unusual occurs, the display may show one of the Information Codes listed below. These will help you to identify and correct the problem.

Recording paper jam.

No recording paper.

Print Cartridge is not installed.

Out of ink.

Print Cartridge Cradle can not move.

The backup battery is getting weak or is fully discharged.

Document misfeeding.

Remove jammed paper.

Load the recording paper.

Install the Print Cartridge.

Replace the Print Cartridge.

Paper jam may have occurred. Remove jammed paper.

Replace the battery. Otherwise, the memory contents may be lost.

1.Reload the document properly.

2.Remove document jam.

3.Adjust ADF.

Document paper is too long or jammed. Document length exceeds 78.8 inches (2 meters).

Printer Cover is open.

ADF Door (Document Return Guide) is open.

Modem Failure.

While receiving, certain signals were not detected by the Modem due to phone line noise.

Printer engine failure.

During initial handshake, receiving station did not respond or communication error occurred.

1.Reload the document properly.

2.Remove document jam.

Close the Printer Cover.

Close the ADF Door.

Contact your local Panasonic Dealer for service.

If document contains errors, ask the remote side to resend the document.

Contact your local Panasonic Dealer for service.

1.Check with the other party.

2.Reload the document and send again.
