playback a subfolder of that folder.
!Whenplaying discs with MP3 files and audio
data(CD-DA), repeat play performs within the
currentlyplaying data type even if DISC is
selected.
Playing tracks in a random
order
Randomplay lets you play back tracks in a
randomorder within the repeat range,
FOLDERand DISC.

3 Touchato turn random play on.
Trackswill play in a random order within the
previouslyselected FOLDER or DISC ranges.

Scanning folders and tracks
Whileyou are using FOLDER, the beginning of
eachtrack in the selected folder plays for
about10 seconds. When you are using DISC ,
thebeginning of the first trackof each folder
isplayed for about 10 seconds.

3 Touchato turn scan play on.
Thefirst 10 seconds of each trackof the cur-
rentfolder (or the first track of each folder)is
played.
4 Whenyou find the desired track (or
folder)touch bto turn scan play off.
Note
Aftertrack or folder scanning is finished, normal
playbackof the tracks will begin again.
Pausing MP3 playback
Pauselets you temporarily stop disc playback.
%Touchfduring playback.
Theicon eis displayed for fourseconds and
playbackis paused.
#Toresume playback at the same point that you
turnedpause on, touch fagain.
Note
Youcan also turn on or off pause function using
PAUSE.To display PAUSE,touch A.MENU and
thentouch FUNCTION.
