3 Touchcor dto select an appropriate

settingfor polarity.

Eachtime you touch cor dswitches between

thefollowing polarity:

!BATTERYWhen the polarity of the con-

nectedlead is positive while the gear shift

isREVERSE (R) position

!GNDWhen the polarity of the connected

leadis negative while the gear shift is RE-

VERSE(R) position

Selecting the video of reardisplay

Whenthe navigation video is displayed on

frontdisplay, you can select either showing

thenavigation video on rear display or the

videoof the selected source.

!Onlywhen a Pioneer navigation unit is con-

nectedto this unit, you can switch the

videoof rear display.

!Whenselecting SOURCE in REAR DISP,

whenthe selected source is an audio

source,nothing is displayed on rear dis-

play.

!Whenselecting SOURCE in REAR DISP,

nothingis displayed on rear display during

atraffic announcement interruption or a

newsprogram interruption.

Setting the automatic openfunction

Toprevent the display from hitting the shift

leverof an automatic vehicle when it is in P

(park)position, or when you do notwish the

displayto open/close automatically, you can

setthe automatic open function in the manual

mode.

Furthermore,to adjust the LCD panel slide po-

sition,you can turn the set back on oroff.

1 TouchA.MENU and SETUP and then

touchFLAP SET.

2 Touchato turn the set back on, and

theLCD panel slides to the back.

#Toturn the set back off, touch band the LCD

panelslides to the front.

3 Touchcor dto select the display to

open/closeautomatically or manually.

Touchcto select MANUAL, and you have to

pressOPEN/CLOSE to open/close the display.

Touchdto select AUTO, and the display auto-

maticallyopens/closes when power to this

unitis turned on.

Setting the clock

Usethese instructions to set the clock.

1 TouchA.MENU and SETUP and then

touchCLOCK ADJ.

2 TouchOFF to turn the clock display on.

ONwill appear in the display instead of OFF.

Clockdisplay is now on.

#Youcan also turn the clock display on or off by

pressingFLIP DOWN/CLOCK when the LCD

panelis closed.

#Toturn the clock display off, touch ON.
