Note
Ifyou switch the SFEQ setting, the HPF function
isautomatically turned off. By turning the HPF
functionon after selecting the SFEQ setting, you
cancombine HPF function with SFEQ
function.
Adjusting source levels
SLA(source level adjustment) lets you adjust
thevolume level of each source to prevent ra-
dicalchanges in volume when switching be-
tweensources.
!Settingsare based on the FM tuner volume
level,which remains unchanged.
1 Comparethe FM tuner volume level
withthe level of the source you wish to ad-
just.
2 TouchA.MENU and AUDIO and then
touchNEXT.
3 TouchSLA.
4 Touchaor bto adjust the source vo-
lume.
Eachtime you touch aor bincreases or de-
creasesthe source volume.
+44is displayed as the source volume is
increasedor decreased.
Notes
!TheMW/LW tuner volume level can also be
adjustedwith source level adjustments.
!VideoCD, CD and MP3 are set to the same
sourcelevel adjustment volume automatically.
!DVDand the optional DVD player are set to
thesame source level adjustment volume
automatically.
!Externalunit 1 and external unit 2 are set to
thesame source level adjustment volume
automatically.
!AUX(auxiliary input) and AV (video input) are
setto the same source level adjustment vo-
lumeautomatically.
Compensating for
equalizer curves (EQ-EX)
TheEQ-EX compensates for each equalizer
curve.Furthermore, you can adjust bass and
treblefor each source when CUSTOM cur ve is
selected.
!Youcannot use EQ-EX function and SFEQ
functionsimultaneously.
