Searching for a desired
track in the current folder
Youcan use the search function to specify a
trackto search for a desired track.
!Tracksearch is not possible when disc play-
backhas been stopped.
1 TouchSEARCH and then touch TRACK.
2 Touch09 to input the desired num-
ber.
!Toselect 3, touch 3.
!Toselect 10, touch 1and 0in order.
!Toselect 23, touch 2and 3in order.
#Tocancel the input numbers, touch C.
#Youcan also input the desired number by
usingthe joystick and 0-9.
3 Whilethe input number is displayed,
touchENTER.
Thisstarts playback from the selected track.
Note
Youcan also perform the same operations using
SEARCH.To display SEARCH, touch A.MENU
andthen touch FUNCTION.
Displaying textinformation on MP3 disc
Textinformation recorded on a MP3 disc can
bedisplayed.

TouchDISP repeatedly to switch between the
followingsettings:
Folder(folder name)File (file name)
TrackTitle(track title)Artist (artist name)
Album(album title)Comment (comment)
BitRate(bit rate)
#Whenplaying back files recorded as VBR
(variablebit rate) files, the bit rate value is not dis-
playedeven after switching to bit rate. (VBR will
bedisplayed.)
#Ifspecific information has not been recorded
ona MP3 disc, NO XXXX will be displayed (e.g.,
NONAME).
Scrolling text informationin the display
Thisunit can display the first 19 letters onlyof
Folder,File,TrackTitle,Artist,Albumand
Comment.When the recorded information is
longerthan 19 letters, you can scroll the text
tothe left so that the rest of the text informa-
tioncan be seen.
%Keeptouching DISP until the text infor-
mationbegins to scroll to the left.
Therest of the text informatio n will appear in
thedisplay.
Selecting folders from thefolder name list
Foldername list lets you see the list of folder
nameson an MP3 disc and select one of them
toplayback.
1 TouchA.MENU and FUNCTION and then
touchFOLDER LIS.
2 TouchPREV or NEXT to switch between
thelists of names.
3 Touchyour favorite folder name.
Thatselection will begin to play.
