!Evenif you change this setting, there is no
outputunless you turn the non fading output
(referto Using non fading output on page 71)
orsubwoofer output (refer to Using subwoofer
outputon page 71) in the audio menu on.
!Ifyou change the subwoofer controller, sub-
wooferoutput and non fading output in the
audiomenu return to the factory settings.
!Bothrear speaker leads output and RCA rear
outputare switched simultaneously in this
setting.
Correcting distorted sound
Youcan minimize distortion likely caused by
theequalizer cur ve settings.
Settingan equalizer level high can cause dis-
tortion.If high sound is crippled ordistorted,
tryswitching to LOW. Normally, leave the set-
tingat HIGH to ensure quality sound.
!Onlywhen the multi-channel processor
(e.g.,DEQ-P7000) is connected to this unit,
youcan operate this function.

pearsin the display. Touch dto select high

Switching the soundmuting/attenuation
Soundfrom this system is muted, attenuated
ormixed automatically in the following cases:
!Whena call is made or received using a
cellulartelephone connected to this unit.
!Whenthe voice guidance is output from a
Pioneernavigation unit connected to this
unit.
